Mindset: The Path to The Growth Mindset

Growth mindset.  The need to constantly evolve grow and continuously improve.  It’s a strange reality of a strong career whereby towards the end you realize things which should’ve been clear from the beginning and seem outrageously simple should you have adopted them early on.  “Next ball” meaning you make a mistake and immediately need to react to the next action and controllable item.  The sooner your realize it’s a mistake and react the sooner you move forward.  These micro-failures are better framed as feedback loops.  It’s an example of something which didn’t serve the intention.  React immediately.  Sport like life offers thousands of these situations. Some you imagine, some the result of others, some 100% your fault and perhaps you’re not tuned enough to realize it.  The important issue is radical self-awareness and the ability to recognize your role within the team context and the controllable available to you..
