Recently, I’ve tripled down on living moment to moment. I prioritize breathe, equanimity, and concentrated attention on immediate objectives. Not only am I incredibly more effective, it needs to be written; the experience of centering oneself in such a way is thrilling. Whether I am with my romantic partner, family, cherished friends, business partners, with strangers, or with my current favorite — alone in my office building — the act of controlling for breathe and maintaining direct concentration on the present moment truly feels like a super power. It’s not akin to stimulation, a buzz, or euphoria, rather its clear, crisp, and constant clarity. Pure energy. True presence..
